Bribery or Reinforcement

As a BCBA, I use reinforcement by rewarding good behavior to encourage it in the future. This differs from bribery, where a reward is given to stop bad behavior. Reinforcement strengthens positive actions, while bribery can increase negative behavior over time. Understanding this distinction helps effectively promote good behavior in children.
